• The M2814 Compute Cartridge is part of a growing line of compute options for the Cisco UCS M4308 Modular Chassis. With the new M2814 and Cisco UCS M4308 Modular Chassis, Cisco brings high core counts and memory expansion to a high-density, low-power, scale-out deployment model.
• The unique design of the M4308 chassis abstracts server sub-systems to efficiently provide power, cooling, I/O, and local storage resources to dense M-Series compute cartridges. With this groundbreaking design, the UCS M-Series provides a dense and power-efficient platform designed to increase compute capacity per rack unit (RU).
• The M4308 chassis can hold up to four dual-socket M2814 Compute Cartridges. The M4308 chassis connects to a pair of Cisco UCS Fabric Interconnects, providing ease of scalability and UCS management.
